Jason’s Story

Hey! I’m Jason, and I’m a writer, a physician assistant, a husband and father, and someone who loves great stories. I’ve always been a fan of Star Wars, superheroes, and adventure.

This is  what led me to write my own superhero series. I thought about a few stories in the Bible. Samson had super-strength. The prophet Elijah outran a chariot once. Did you know that was in there?

Then it hit me: nowadays we’d call these superpowers.

Soon I had mini-movies in my head. I saw Demarcus, running around with super speed being heroic – but he had to also earn money to replace the shoes he wore out. There was a blonde girl named Lily who was depressed, so she dyed her hair black to match her mood. The problem was that she could manipulate light, and her power always burned off the dye and had her back to blonde by the end of the day.

My books were first released by a small publisher that has since gone out of business. You may see some older covers on Amazon. I was able to release the series under my own imprint, Legend Bound Books, in 2024. You can find them on the typical online outlets, or get signed copies from my personal online store.
